Alice Krumm graduated from Capital University in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree. She went on to achieve a Master of Science in Human Services Management with a focus on leadership and management from Franklin University.
Alice has worked as a surgical nurse for the past seventeen years and is certified by the Competency and Credentialing Institute in the area of perioperative nursing – representing the highest level of professional achievement and clinical competency in her specialty area.
Alice also teaches at Mount Carmel College of Nursing. She has been with the college since 2003, teaching a senior-level leadership and transitions course for senior nursing students. She has now embarked on a designing a course for nursing students specific to survivorship care.
Alice started her own company, Beyond Pink, in order to help patients and caregivers through treatment while changing the perceptions of a cancer diagnosis. An apparel collection featuring the Beyond Pink logo is a part of this business venture, which speaks to courage, strength, and attitude, not only during treatment but as a part of survivorship.
