BURT VISOTZKY teaches at the

 Jewish Theological Seminary in New York. A DELIGHTFUL COMPENDIUM OF CONSOLATION is his ninth book, his first novel. Burt worked with Bill Moyers on the 1996 PBS series: GENESIS A LIVING CONVERSATON and consulted with Jeffrey Katzenberg on the 1998 film, PRINCE OF EGYPT. Last Spring, he served as Master Visiting Professor of Jewish Studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University in ROME. He has been active in Jewish/Christian /Muslim dialogues in places as diverse as New York, Washington, Rome, Cairo, and Doha, Qatar.
