Elizabeth Zelvin is a New York City psychotherapist whose new mystery, DEATH WILL HELP YOU LEAVE HIM (October 2009) is the follow up to her debut mystery, DEATH WILL GET YOU SOBER, which was nominated for a David award for Best Mystery Novel of 2008. The series features recovering alcoholic Bruce Kohler and his friends, Jimmy the computer genius and Barbara the world-class codependent. A related story was nominated for an Agatha award for Best Short Story; another appeared in Ellery Queen's Mystery Magazine (August 2009). Her story, "Death Will Trim Your Tree," appears in the 2009 holiday crime anthology The Gift of Murder, to benefit Toys for Tots.
