Hank Rosenfeld (seen here interviewing Irv Brecher, his 94 year-old writing partner and THE Wicked Wit of the West) is a radioman/writer from Detroit.
His stories appear on National Public Radio and Public Radio International shows like, "All Things Considered," "Marketplace," and "Weekend America." He produced non-public radio shows in New York, San Francisco, Minneapolis and Israel and wrote comedic plays for the Bond Street, DaK, and H.E.A.P. theater ensembles in New York, touring Berlin, the Netherlands, Minnapolis and New Jersey. His solo show, "Women Are From Venice/Men Are From Mar Vista" played in theaters, bars, and bookstores in LA and Santa Monica. His written features have appeared in the LA Times, LA Magazine, NY Post, Village Voice, Detroit News, HeeB, Shambhala Sun, and other publications. He was on staff at Spy Magazine in New York during their early, funniest years. He contributed jokes to the long-running Broadway show, "Catskills on Broadway" at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre and learned some of his skill driving a taxi cab in San Francisco and a Good Humor truck in Detroit. Before working on a ship off the coast of Tel-Aviv, broadcasting from the pirate radio ship, "The Voice of Peace," Hank was arrested for robbing the National Bank of Greece in Athens. After a brief beating, he was found innocent and offered a recipe for tzatziki. He is currently producing an audiobook for THE WICKED WIT OF THE WEST and attempting a graphic novel... Author's Works
