Jessie Jayne Smith is a
pseudonym for Janine Donoho, who thrives in the Okanogan Highlands of Washington State. A former member of both Pacific Northwest Writers' Association (PNWA) and Romance Writers of America (RWA), she plants herself in the writing chair nearly every day. Her novel WILDFIRE tied for first in Stella Cameron's PNWA contest, while CALLING DOWN THE WIND proved a leading contender in the non-genre contest. WRITERS' WEEKEND judges chose another novel SOUNDINGS as a top competitor.
FANTASY, FOLKLORE, & FAIRYTALES, INDIGENOUS PRESS, and LEGIONS OF LIGHT have featured her short stories and for four years, she wrote as biologist-columnist for EARTH, SEA & SKY in the BREMERTON SUN.
