Larissa Ione considers the Pacific
Northwest to be home, even though she currently lives a nomadic lifestyle with a menagerie of pets, her young son, and her U.S. Coast Guard husband.
An Air Force veteran, she has been a meteorologist, an EMT, and a professional dog trainer, often all at the same time - yet she never gave up on her dream of writing fiction. Thanks to a number of factors including, strangely enough, hurricane Katrina, she is now able to write full time, which is a blessing given her husband’s very mobile military career.
