Robert Rummel-Hudson studied English and
music at The University of Texas at Arlington, where he is now employed as "Minister of Propaganda" for the School of Architecture. He has been writing online since 1995. Recently, his work has been featured in Good Housekeeping (February 2008) and Wondertime (March 2008). SCHUYLER'S MONSTER: A Father's Journey with his Wordless Daughter is his first book and will be available from St. Martin's Press in February 2008. Robert and his family live in Plano, Texas, where Schuyler attends a special class for children who use Augmentative and Alternative Communication devices. Most of her days are now spent in mainstream classes with neurotypical children her age.
