Tommy Chong is a sixty-six-year-old
writer and director. Chong, along with Cheech Marin, were a comedic duo who found a wide audience in the 1960s and 70s for their stand-up routines, which played on the hippie, free-love, and (especially) drug culture
movements. Cheech and Chong released a number of successful comedy albums, and starred in a series of movies. Cheech played a
sex-obsessed man from Los Angeles, while Chong's character was a burnt-out druggie whose entire life revolved around getting high. A father of five, Chong lives with his wife in California.
