I'd been considering a Book

Signing at Book World in Eagle River toward the end of my come-and-go vacation season in Wisconsin, but wondered if the bookseller would be willing.

As it turned out, when I called, Sue Greenman was most amenable, mentioning that a good time for the signing would be on one of the Cranberry Fest days, since many people would be in town at that time.

Her suggestion coincided with my own opinion, proving we were on the same wave length.

I received my signing date of Saturday, Oct 6, 2007 from 11am-1pm, at the same time as the Festival. Hopefully, some of the shoppers will stop at the bookstore to take advantage of some before or after reading. (Or at least the husbands will)

Anyway, it does pay to investigate local festivals and offer to sign at area bookstores or even at the festivals themselves. It's another way to get your brand out to the public.
Or, as in my case, it's another way cranberries can be good for you.
