Hello everyone. The Sleep book

launch was held last week, and was an enjoyable morning with a good turnout. My almost obsessive attempts to court the media has been amazingly fruitful, but often a little surprising, with the phone ringing at strange unprepared-for hours, and me saying all kinds of absentminded things while doing the usual plethora of jobs at once – cooking (and occasionally burning) dinner while talking to ABC FM, wiping my daughter’s bottom while talking to Cumberland papers, picking up costumes off the floor and breaking up a fight between my boys while trying to be smooth to an unexpected visiting photographer. I asked for it, so I’m not (at all) complaining. I even got asked for my autograph at the grocery store – which made me stupidly happy, even though the person asking didn’t have one of my books in her hand at the time (or I would have been even more stupidly happy).
